In a magic corner of southern Tuscany, just a few steps form interesting and genuine places rich in history and nature, standing on a sheer descent to the sea in the middle of the natural green of Ansedonia rises the Villa Ari, planned by an authoritative Roman architect: an ideal house for an extraordinary holiday.
Once left the Via Aurelia, at the 134th kilometre, driving on for just a few hundreds metres through the shrub-land (i.e. the Mediterranean maquis, and once gone through the fence giving access to the estate, one cannot help being struck by the panorama and by the natural marvels appearing before our eye and that can be admired from every corner of the Villa Ari.
After crossing the entrance door we find on our left side a patio equipped for launch; on our right side double two sleeping rooms with private bathroom, one of which is provided with a tub and the other with a shower.
Walking along the entrance corridor we reach the hall, which includes three parts, namely: TV-sitting room, lounge area and dining area. It is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs on the one side, while on the other side there is an ancient oval table providing room for twelve persons.
The hall gives onto a first terrace equipped for summer living room and dining room. On the left side, two double rooms and two bathrooms with tub – Kitchen-breakfast room.
An inner stare leads to the lower floor, where there is a wide hall from which one can admire a panorama on the sea, two sleeping rooms and two bathrooms with shower.
From this spacious and well-lit hall we can have access to a wonderful terrace divided into a dining area on the one side and a relaxing corner with sunbathing chaises longues on the other.
From this terrace one can enjoy a gorgeous view sweeping from Porto Ercole and the mountains of the Argentario on the one side up to the beach of the Feniglia on the opposite side.
In addition, from here it is possible to admire the islands of Giannutri and Montecristo, a well-known sea nature preserve.
Outside a park 5,000 sq. m wide partly planted with meadow and partly with Mediterranean maquis.
Overlooking the sea lies a round-shaped swimming-pool with sea-water whose size is 15 x 7 x H 150 m.
The villa is provided with satellite TV-set, phone line, and Internet connection. Park places providing room for 6 cars.
All around the villa there are two terraces one of which, in the middle of the green of the garden, has been converted into a marvellous “belvedere” equipped with sunbathing chaises longues, an ideal place to lie in the sun and after the sunset for dinners and barbecues.
The villa has also its own downhill way to the sea as well as a sunbathing platform and an access to the boat berthing place.
Measurements of the Villa: 500 sq. m; Land: 5.000 sq. m |
