Pisa is famous for its monuments that form 'Campo dei Miracoli': the Latin cross Dome that represents the best expression of Romanesque architecture.

It was started in 1069 by Buschetto and ended by Rinaldo; in front of the Dome, you can see the Baptistry (1152), composed of a cylindrical and by a octagonal pyramidal cupola.

The leaning tower (or bell-tower) is well known all over the world : it was started in 1173 and ended in the II century after some interruptions. We also advise you to visit S.Michele in Borgo, S.Agata in Laterizi, S.Zeno and S.Piero 'in grado', not far from the city.
